As soon as the pair had entered the guest house, Felicity took note of Marcus' playing around and sniffing the air in search of the sugary treats that she had promised him. "Come on," she said, lightly grabbing his arm and pulling him towards the kitchen with her.
Once in the kitchen, Felicity went over to the glass cookie jar and opened the lid. "Take as many as you want, but leave me at least one, mkay?"
Going over to the refrigerator, Felicity opened up the freezer and took a few ice cubes out of it. She then opened a drawer and grabbed a little plastic ziploc bag out and put the ice cubes into it. Bringing it up to her face, Felicity cringed a little bit when the cold touched her nose, but she knew that the swelling and bruising wouldn't be as bad if she had iced it for a little while.
"I don't know if you have anything else planned for the afternoon, but if you don't, you're more than welcome to hang out with me," the girl spoke, unsure if she was doing the right thing and finally showing her true feelings for the male. She normally kept her feelings hidden, because she was a loyal friend and didn't want to date her former friends ex. Although, since the gloves were apparently off, Felicity had no problem giving in.
"We could watch a movie or something, if you'd like," Felicity spoke, readjusting the ice on her nose and cringing again, this time in slight discomfort.

Marcus felt her hand on his arm and it was as if someone had shocked him with the end of an electrical plug. Her touch was soft and the tugging wasn't even that hard itself but Marcus just had to follow her wherever she was taking him. When they reached the kitchen, Felicity let go of his arm and pointed out that the cookies were in the cookie jar. After she removed the lid, Marcus immediately stuck a hand in, hearing her tell him to leave at least one for her. "Well here. I don't mind sharing," he told her and handed her the second cookie that he had picked up at the same time as his own.
As he bit into the soft cookie, he could feel the chocolate practically melt in his mouth. He made a small moan of happiness and looked over at Felicity with a huge smile. After finishing the first cookie, Marcus reached in for a second as he watched Felicity get some ice and put it in a ziplock bag for her nose. He watched her cringe as she put the ice on her nose and hearing her next string of words he couldn't help but chuckle lightly. "You are in no shape to be alone right now miss," he said and a slight southern accent jokingly.
Marcus walked over to her and grabbed the ice from her for a moment only to replace it in a better place for her nose to go down in swelling. "You might just need a male nurse to take care of her for the next few days," he suggested. Then Felicity herself had a suggestion of watching a movie and that's when the male looked at her with a look of slight surprise. Hanging out to watch a movie could mean potential cuddling. Is that what she wanted?
The more Marcus looked at her, he realized he was still holding the ice then held back his hand to let Felicity hold it. "A movie sounds fine," the male told her quietly, finishing up the rest of the second cookie he had taken for himself.

When the male had gone for the cookie jar and she the fridge, he kindly took a cookie out for her after grabbing one for himself as well. Taking the offered treat, Felicity thanked him and smiled. She put the cookie down on the counter, just so that she would be able to get ice first.
With the ice now on her face, Felicity broke a piece off of the cookie that Marcus had handed to her previously and brought it to her mouth to enjoy. It was then that she had heard the male's moan of happiness and enjoyment when he had tasted his own sugary treat. Smiling in content, the blonde was happy that the male had enjoyed her baking skills.
It confused Felicity when the male walked over to her and took the ice bag from her hand, but when he repositioned it, Felicity was thankful. Smiling up at the male, she heard what he then spoke. "I don't think that I should be alone right now either," the girl spoke. "That's why I have you," she said, taking another piece of the cookie and bringing it to her mouth to enjoy. "So, don't plan on hanging out with anyone or going anywhere. I'm going to keep you here, even if that means that I have to tie you to the staircase," Felicity spoke, winking at him.
"Since I'm all bruised and broken, I think that I should get to pick the movie," she said, grinning sweetly. "I hope you like Transformers, because there's three of them and we're watching all of them tonight," the blonde girl spoke, revealing parts of her nerdiness.

Marcus listened to Felicity threaten him with tying him to the stairs if he wanted to leave. Marcus put an evil grin across his face before making a comment. "You don't know if I'd like that," he told her with a slight tone of seductiveness in his voice. What she was saying was definitely giving him hints of her liking him but could that have just been his imagination? Either way, it was making him love her more than he already did.
After he told her that a movie would be okay, she informed him that she should pick the movies since she was injured. Marcus raised an eyebrow as to question her but she continued to explain what movies she was going to pick out. Her explanation made Marcus smile really big with one of those grins of playfulness. "Any guy that would turn down a Megan Fox movie is absolutely insane and probably gay," Marcus commented as he lightly took her now free hand in his and led her to the living room.
"I know you've picked out what movies we're going to watch but I'm going to actually pick them up and put them in the DVD player. Any bending over for you and you might pass out. Take a seat," he told her, almost sternly as he pointed to the sofa that sat across the room from the entertainment center. Marcus turned his attention to the center and started opening all the doors on it to try to find the DVD section. The thing was huge.

After Felicity heard the reply to her comment of tying Marcus to the staircase, she couldn't help but giggle shyly. "You'll have to like that one quite a bit, because my bed doesn't have a headboard that I could tie you too. The staircase would be the next best thing," she said with a wink. The girl wasn't sure whether or not Marcus was expecting an answer like that out of her, but after her playing so hard to get, she figured that he wasn't.
As Marcus guided her to the living room, he heard his comment about Megan Fox and she couldn't help but feel let down. While Marcus seemed to have liked her enough to want to be with her for so long, she couldn't help but relate Megan Fox to his ex. They both were gorgeous, had dark brown hair, long legs, and were stick thin. Feeling as if she wasn't good enough for him all of a sudden, Felicity soon began to feel stupid for even trying to flirt with Marcus. Maybe after all the time she had said no to him without having to actually say it, she should have known better than to speak an unspoken yes.
When the male had spoken to her and pointed at the couch, Felicity couldn't say no. She just went with the flow of things, since her mind was racing in hundreds of directions. Cuddling up with herself on the couch, the girl leaned against the arm of it and tucked her legs and feet close to her body. She was feeling very vulnerable and confused, so she wasn't sure if Marcus was just being nice and staying with her or not. Watching the male open all the cabinets, trying to find the DVDs, Felicity just muttered a single word to him, "Up." The plastic cases holding all their discs were in the one longer cabinet above the television itself, just so that when she had guests over, it wouldn't be all too easy to just snag one and walk off with it.

As Marcus looked around, he heard the voice of Felicity tell him one word. When he looked up and saw the cabinet just above the television, Marcus stood up straight and reached up. Being six feet tall definitely had it's advantages. He opened the doors to the cabinet and saw the whole collection of DVD's. He muttered a soft 'wow' then searched with eyes quickly for the titles. Once finding all three movies, he held them in one hand and closed the cabinet doors with the other.
The tone in Felicity's voice did not go unnoticed by Marcus because as soon as he turned around, he saw how she was sitting on the couch. He didn't want to say anything just then so he continued to move, putting the DVD's down next to the player and sticking the first Transformers movie into the player. He pushed play and the commercials and ads for new movies began to play. Marcus turned around again and looked to Felicity before walking over to sit on the couch.
He didn't sit extremely close to her since he didn't know why she was so curled up. Maybe her pain was getting worse? It looked like more than that though. Her eyes weren't only of physical pain but emotional. What is something Marcus said? "Drew, what's wrong?" the curious male asked, turning his body so he was sitting sideways on the couch, facing Felicity.

Watching the male's every move from her spot on the couch, Felicity watched as he opened up the cabinet full of movies and just pause momentarily. She was a big fan of movies, especially on days that were either raining or too hot. Plus, half of them were her sister's, so that didn't help any.
When Marcus had finally finished up what he had been doing and wandered over to the couch and sat down, Felicity was thankful that he hadn't sat down right next to her. She was feeling sort of vulnerable at the moment and she didn't want to be ready to go off the deep end. Although, when Marcus asked her what was wrong, Felicity knew that she couldn't lie to him. Felicity had taken a few moments to debate whether or not that she was going to answer his question or just tell him that she didn't want to talk about it, but she ended up deciding to tell him.
Standing up, Felicity look to her friend, "What's wrong is that I totally put myself out there today and I've been nothing but beaten down today. First, I got my nose smashed into my face. And now, I have to break the news to you that I'm not a Nina and certainly not a Megan Fox look a like," she said, practically in tears.
Dropping her half melted ice pack onto the glass coffee table in the middle of the room, Felicity went towards the staircase and went up it to her room. She wanted nothing more than her day to just end already, but she knew that that wasn't going to happen. She had invited Marcus to spend the afternoon and next few days with her while she healed a bit more, so she wasn't going to revoke the offer. She just needed a few minutes of space between them and changing her clothes seemed to be enough time.
Walking into her room, Felicity pulled a pair of sweatpants out of her drawer and then a tee shirt from a different one and changed out of the sundress into her newly picked clothes.

Marcus watched his friend as she stood up and looked down at him. He turned himself so he was facing forward again. Her words sent a spike into his heart. She did like him. All those hints that he thought she was giving him, she actually was and his one comment broke her down. It seemed to be a usual thing lately that Marcus was feeling guilty for Felicity always being hurt. The male watched as Felicity dropped her half melted bag of ice on the coffee table and walked away to the stairs.
He heard her go up the stairs but he sat on the couch for the next few minutes just staring into nothing. He cleared his thoughts enough and made up his mind as to what he was going to do. Getting up from the couch, he followed the same path that Felicity did, going up the stairs. He didn't remember which bedroom was hers but as soon as he heard some rustling and movement in one of them, he saw that that particular door was open. Marcus basically barged in, walked right up to Felicity, grabbed her face with both of his hands and leaned down to kiss her lips passionately.
If that didn't show her how he actually felt about her, then the hopes of them ever being a couple were doomed. Marcus pulled away after a few moments and took his hands off of Felicity. He looked to her and waited for any kind of response from her. Even her throwing him out would have been okay with him. He just needed to know where they stood.

While Felicity had gone up to her room and changed, she could only imagine what was going through Marcus' head. She didn't know if she had just made it clear that there was nothing that was going to happen between them now or if she had actually opened the gates to something new that could happen. All that she knew was that she was now comfortable in a pair of sweatpants and a tee shirt.
The next few moments were a bit of a blur to the blonde.
Before she knew what was happening, Marcus was suddenly in her bedroom and walked straight for her, as if on a mission. During the next few moments, Marcus had placed his hands on her face and leaned down to kiss her. It was at that moment that Felicity was super thankful that she had had a small nose.
When their lips had parted, Felicity just smiled up at the male for a few seconds before opening her mouth to speak.
"As much as I want you to do that again, I think we're going to have to wait until my nose is healed," she said. "And you mister, could have just broken it even more if you weren't careful," she spoke, sticking her tongue out for a second or two before letting it retreat into her mouth again.

As Marcus watched Felicity's face change to a smile, he almost immediately wanted to go back in for another kiss but her words stopped him. She was right about needing to wait until her nose healed. Her next comment about him breaking it more if he wasn't careful made him laugh. The male moved towards her again and put his lips close to her face but then quickly moved to kiss her neck a few times.
Marcus stood back up, moving his arms around Felicity's waist, holding her and looking down at her. "Kissing elsewhere won't be a problem though will it?" he asked slyly as he leaned down and kissed the other side of her neck. He wasn't going to stop even if she tried to stop him. The welcoming invitation she had given downstairs with telling him what was wrong made him want her even more. He figured now would be a good time to spill his own guts.
He kissed a line up her neck to her ear then across her jaw to her lips where he carefully and lightly kissed her for only a second. When he pulled away slowly, he looked down at the much shorter female. "I've gotta tell you though, I've been wanting to kiss you since I broke up with Nina. And I know when i mentioned Megan Fox that it sounded like I have a type but you're my type Felicity," the male said, using her first name. "You're beautiful and even though you can act like a spoiled brat sometimes," he said with a soft chuckle and sticking his own tongue out at her for a moment, "you're still so sweet and kind. And.... well... I love you," he told her then waited once again for her response. It was probably too soon to tell her those three words. She more than likely did not feel that strongly about him. At least not yet. He basically just set himself up for heartbreak.
